We are Southwestern Wisconsin’s premier folk instrument shop. We carry unusual and hard to find musical instruments from around the world, alongside a wide selection of acoustic guitars, ukuleles, banjos, dobros, mandolins, drums, orchestral instruments, and all the necessary musical accessories. We also have select electric guitars, basses, and amps.
We both play parlor guitars, and we specialize in small body guitars from a variety of makers, from orchestra and concert models to parlors, mini, and travel guitars. You’ll love the sweet tone and comfort of these models.
We also carry the Midwest’s best selection of ukuleles, and often have over 30 models on the wall. Ted has written two best selling ukulele instruction books (along with three guitar books and books for mandolin and banjo) and has played ‘uke for three decades, bringing that experience to our ukulele classes and to help you find the perfect ‘uke.
We offer lessons on guitar, banjo, and mandolin and have a great rental program. We accept trades and consignments, and buy and sell used instruments.
Have fun exploring our site and be sure to stop in our store and say “hello”.
Ted & Catherine Parrish
